Named for the number of judges who preferred this revolver for personal protection, this Taurus Judge is an ideal choice for close-quarters self-defense needs and equally well-suited for varmint control and as a hunting sidearm. This unique and robust revolver is capable of firing 45 LC and 410 bore shot shells, and built with a solid steel frame, cylinder, and barrel. A lined rubber grip ensures a secure grasp, while the fixed rear and high-visibility fiber optic sights provide a clear sight profile. The key-operated Taurus Security System and transfer bar safety provide an added measure of safety. Shallow rifling of the barrel means the Judge is not defined as a short-barreled shotgun under the NFA, though restrictions are present in some states with more stringent gun laws.
