• Displays a general understanding of sales operations and customer service skills needed to offer sales support to the BizDev team including prospecting potential dealer partners.
• Staff the dealer service hot line and take all inbound calls, resolve issues and follow up with dealers providing solutions
• Call dealers on aged orders in awaiting inventory confirmation and awaiting shipment statuses so dealers process orders timely
• Alert dealers that have listing errors and follow through to make sure corrections are made, or the firearm is delisted from the site
• Call dealers that are at fault for a firearm return due to a misrepresented listing or incorrect firearm shipped resulting in a return to Guns.com
• Track and manage dealers with high amounts of rejected and cancelled orders and provide solution resolutions. Where necessary suspend dealers unwilling to comply to dealer requirements
• Offer refresher training for dealers of the listing process, pricing logic and order fulfillment process.
• Engage current and inactive dealers in the Guns.com network to maintain, enhance/improve, or increase firearm listings
• Communicate new and unique business services to the dealer network through several communication channels
• Consistently meets or exceeds business goals set by Director of Business Development and Sales Operations Manager
• Ability to work closely with the Director of Business Development, Sales Operations Manager, Business Development Reps, Customer Service Manager and Customer Service Rangemasters to provide problem resolutions that support our consumers and dealers.
• Work unsupervised in a remote setting and display an organized structured workflow with aggressive rigor around productivity and general engagement

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a sales operation, customer service, business development and/or sales
• Must have very strong organizational skills while using different software technology within Guns.com
• Ability to manage several different tasks at the same time and solve problems quickly
• Must be an effective and persuasive communicator with dealers regarding conflict resolution in a fast-paced environment
• Ability and willingness to spend several hours a day on the phone engaged with firearms dealers and pawnbrokers working on dealer service related tasks
• Ability to work unsupervised from a home-based office or remote setting when appropriate
• Comfort level with a career working for a technology start up that has frequent changes in workflow and job responsibilities 
• Proficient with technology with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• General knowledge of firearms and the firearms industry is preferred but not required
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
