Rock River Intros .17 HMR AR, Fully Ambi Rifle, XM-24 Bolt Gun
Rock River Arms is quietly updating its catalog for 2024 to include lots of new rifle and carbine offerings.
In the company's LAR-22 line comes the new RRA .17 HMR. Using the company's A4 7000 series slab-sided billet upper receiver with a forged A2 7075 T6 lower, it carries an 18-inch 41V50 CMV1:9 twist barrel with an A2 flash suppressor on a threaded muzzle.
A gas impingement gun with delayed blowback, it’s got a ton of features including an NM Ultra Match two-stage trigger, Magpul furniture to include an MOE SL-K six-position buttstock, and a 15-inch lightweight aluminum free-float handguard with a top rail and M-LOK slots. BT-2 ATR
Dubbed the Ambidextrous Tactical Rifle, RRA's new ATR has a BT-2 series upper and lower that is machined for the company's ambidextrous bolt catch/release and magazine release systems as well as an ambi two-position safety selector switch, meaning the user can actuate all the surface controls via either the left or right-hand side of the rifle. The charging handle is an ambi Radian Raptor, while the rifle is full of other nice features such as the RRA NM Ultra Match two-stage trigger and an NSP-2 six-position CAR stock.

XM24 Tactical Bolt-Action Rifle
RRA is now also in the bolt-action precision rifle business, offering the XM24 Tactical with a 26-inch heavy-contour stainless-steel barrel in either .308 Win. (1:10 twist) or .338 Lapua (1:9.5 twist). A lot of the gun is familiar, using an MDT’s ESS non-folding chassis, a Remington 700-style receiver, and TriggerTech's Primary single-stage trigger system. It has a 20 MOA base scope rail and a single-stack five-round detachable box magazine.
RRA says it is a "precision, mission-deployable rifle with a guaranteed accuracy potential of less than 1/2 MOA when using premium ammunition." The overall weight of the RRA XM24 Tactical is 13.2 pounds, and the rifle measures 46.25 inches long.
